Under the name “Rise and Shine Art,” World Wide Walls operates as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a clear and impactful mission:
Hawaii, known globally as an "Island Paradise," stands as a testament to multicultural integration. Acknowledging and appreciating the Island's unique identity has never been more crucial. As residents rapidly adapt to modernity and the interconnectedness of global communities, the historic culture and arts of the Island have evolved. In this ever-changing landscape, it is imperative to honor not only the diverse cultures and arts within our local and global communities but also the rich heritage of the Hawaiian Islands.
OUR VISION
To this end, we are dedicated to raising awareness of our Island's culture and arts, as well as those of our multicultural and global communities. Our comprehensive program offers opportunities for artists, both local and national, to showcase and perpetuate arts and culture through various activities. These include gallery shows, lecture series, arts and music education workshops and classes, mural projects, concerts, and live art installations.
COMMITMENT TO YOUTH
A cornerstone of our mission is to provide our youth with access to high-quality arts education. In an era of significant budget cuts to arts programs in schools, nurturing the talent and creativity of young people is of the utmost importance.
